Senior Vehicle Technician Needed, in Warwickshire
1. Location: Rugby
2. Salary: Up to £42,000 depending on skills and experience
3. Hours: Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM (with 1 in 2 Saturday mornings)
Our client, a well-regarded, family-run independent garage, is seeking a skilled Senior Vehicle Technician to join their growing team at their Rugby site. They cater to a wide range of makes and models and provide opportunities for progression, including training on specialist equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
4. Perform Vehicle Maintenance and repairs as directed by the Workshop Supervisor.
5. Complete all related administration tasks in line with workshop processes.
6. Ensure the Workshop area is clean, tidy, and adheres to safe working practices.
7. Assist in maintaining Workshop equipment to ensure it remains safe and reliable.
8. Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers, ensuring a professional appearance and attitude at all times.
9. Contribute to maintaining a productive and efficient service department.
Requirements:
10. Solid experience as a Vehicle Technician in a Workshop environment.
11. Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
12. Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
13. Ability to work methodically and in an organised manner.
14. Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
