About the role
We are looking for a Country Manager to lead our local operations and represent the company across customers, partners, and regulators. This role ensures the effective governance and performance of the country entity, while coordinating cross-divisional activities to deliver excellent customer experience, operational performance, and commercial results.
The Country Manager acts as the local leader and strategic connector between global divisions, functional teams, and the local market ensuring compliance, operational excellence, and sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
Country Leadership & Governance
* Ensure compliant and effective management of the local legal entity in line with company policies and local regulations.
* Oversee governance across HR, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Health & Safety, and ESG.
* Safeguard ethical standards, regulatory compliance, and strong internal controls.
* Represent the company with authorities, partners, and key stakeholders.
Operations & Customer Experience
* Lead and coordinate local operations, customer care, technical support, and service delivery.
* Ensure a consistent customer-first service culture across all divisions operating in the country.
* Act as the escalation point for critical customer issues and coordinate resolution with relevant teams.
* Oversee service capabilities, logistics, and order-to-cash processes to meet customer expectations.
Commercial Coordination
* Coordinate in-country activities across Sales, Distribution, Marketing, and Inside Sales teams.
* Support pipeline visibility, forecasting discipline, and effective lead-to-opportunity processes.
* Ensure strong alignment between divisional strategies and country execution.
* Represent the company in industry events, customer engagements, and market initiatives.
Organizational Leadership
* Foster a safe, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture.
* Enable collaboration across divisions and functions within a matrix organization.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance customer experience, operational efficiency, and compliance.
Qualifications & Experience
Required
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Geomatics, GIS, or a related field.
* Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional operations in a matrix organization.
* Strong financial and operational understanding (P&L basics, budgeting, governance).
* Experience working with ERP/CRM systems (e.g., SAP, Salesforce or similar).
* Ability to manage stakeholders across customers, partners, and internal teams.
Preferred
* Master’s degree (MBA or similar).
* Experience in geospatial technology, precision instrumentation, AEC, or industrial technology sectors.
* Exposure to governance, compliance, and risk management frameworks.
