The postholder will work within a collaborative finance team, you will provide high-quality management accounting support to service areas, helping budget holders make informed financial decisions while ensuring strong financial governance and reporting standards are maintained. Key Responsibilities Provide financial support, guidance and budget monitoring assistance to cost centre managers across a range of service areas Prepare and maintain accurate management accounting information, including journals, accruals, forecasts and budget adjustments Support monthly corporate reporting processes, financial modelling and the preparation of working papers for year-end accounts Contribute to process improvement initiatives, system enhancements and the development of efficient financial reporting practices Candidate Criteria Part-qualified accountant or AAT qualified (or equivalent) with experience in management accounting and budget monitoring Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and present findings clearly to stakeholders at all levels Experience supporting non-finance managers and explaining financial information in a practical and accessible way Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage priorities effectively in a collaborative environment If you are interested in the role, or know of anyone who could be, please contact Rachel at Service Care Solutions on 01772 208969 or email rachel.burgess@servicecare.org.uk Service Care Solutions also offers a £250 referral bonus!
