Silverstone, the home of British motorsport, is seeking a strategic and forward-thinking Data and Insight Manager to lead the development and delivery of its data, insight and analytics capability across a diverse and iconic portfolio.
This role offers the opportunity to shape and execute Silverstone’s data and insight strategy, enabling evidence-based decision making aligned to ambitious commercial and strategic objectives. Working with senior stakeholders across the business, you will transform data into meaningful insight that drives audience growth, enhances customer experience, and supports Silverstone’s position as a global leader in motorsport, leisure and live events.

Key Responsibilities
Data, Reporting & Analytics
* Lead the adoption of self-service analytics and the rollout of standardised audience, sales and marketing reporting across the organisation.
* Design, build and maintain dashboards and reports for executive leadership and stakeholders, ensuring timely access to clear, accurate and actionable insights.
* Deliver regular and ad-hoc reporting and analysis to support decision-making, performance tracking and post-campaign evaluation.
* Analyse data to produce insights and recommendations aligned to commercial and strategic objectives, including fan behaviour, ticketing performance and revenue optimisation.
Audience Insight & Research
* Develop and manage Silverstone’s “always-on” audience research programme, including post-visit surveys.
* Project manage bespoke audience research initiatives, working with internal teams and external agencies to deliver projects on time and within budget.
* Support the development and implementation of audience segmentation frameworks in collaboration with the CRM Manager.
Marketing & Customer Data Enablement
* Support the Marketing teams with data selections for CRM, paid social and other marketing activity to enable personalisation and maximum engagement.
* Support the growth of first-party data through data acquisition.
Data Governance & Quality
* Ensure all data usage complies with GDPR and relevant data protection legislation, escalating risks or breaches where required.
* Establish and maintain robust data stewardship, access management, auditing and quality control processes to build organisational confidence in data integrity.
Systems & Integration
* Support the integration of third-party platforms and internal systems to enable unified, compliant data flows across the organisation.
* Scope, build and document custom reports using SQL, SSRS and related tools, reviewing functionality regularly to ensure ongoing relevance and accuracy.

Proven Experience and Expertise
* Strong commercial mindset.
* Proven experience in data analysis and business intelligence using tools such as Power BI, Tableau or Qlik.
* Experience working with CRM platforms and customer data.
* Advanced reporting and dashboard development skills.
* Strong understanding of database technologies with proven SQL capability.
* Experience in segmentation, modelling and statistical analysis, delivering actionable insight.
* Ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives that influence decision-making.
* High attention to detail and strong analytical thinking.
* Proactive, innovative and confident in identifying opportunities to solve business problems through data.
* Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to influence at all levels.
