We are currently recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor based within our Land Reclamation division, focussing on civils and utilities to assist the Commercial Manager by leading the financial management of multiple projects.

Who are we looking for?
Were looking for a highly capable Senior Quantity Surveyor with strong experience in civils and utilities, ideally gained on frameworks like United Utilities AMP programmes.
Were proud to have recently been successful on the United Utilities AMP8 Minor Works framework - a significant programme set to run for at least the next 5 years, delivering essential improvements to water and wastewater infrastructure.
Youll be commercially confident, with a deep und erstanding of the challenges and expectations tied to AMP8 Minor Works and the ability to manage NEC contracts with rigour and precision.
Youll bring a structured and proactive approach to cost control, valuation, and change management, with the confidence to drive commercially sound decisions across multiple fast-paced projects. A meticulous eye for detail and excellent analytical skills are essential, particularly in tracking budgets, managing subcontractor packages, and forecasting financial outcomes.
Working collaboratively with operational teams, clients, and partners, youll be a clear and concise communicator who builds positive relationships across the board. Youll support the delivery of compliant, high-quality work while always keeping commercial outcomes front of mind.

The role of a Senior Quantity Surveyor at The Casey Group
Manage valuations, payments, and commercial reporting, including cost/value reconciliations and final accounts.
Oversee subcontractor procurement and management, ensuring compliance with financial, contractual, and H&S requirements.
Assess and value changes, handling variations, compensation events, and claims for extensions of time or loss/expense.
Liaise with clients and the supply chain on commercial matters and provide contract administration support.
Maximise project profitability through risk management, dispute resolution, and cost control.
Support estimating teams in pricing tenders where required.
Provide commercial guidance to project teams, ensuring adherence to change control and contract procedures.
What do you receive in return?
Financial
Salary between £55,000 - £63,000 depending on experience
Car Allowance of £4,500 per annum
Pension Scheme - We contribute 2.5% more than the employee's pension contribution, up to a maximum of 7.5% (e.g. employee puts 5% in, Casey puts 7.5% in)
