Location: Nuneaton based, must be willing to travel occasionally to National locations if required for site visits and/or meetings.

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:


The Compliance Administrator supports the Health, Safety & Compliance Manager by collating and managing compliance and performance data, maintaining documentation, and coordinating communication between supply chain partners and clients. The role ensures adherence to contractual and project specific compliance and health & safety obligations, provides guidance to supply chain members, escalates performance issues, and supports the onboarding and ongoing management of suppliers to ensure smooth, compliant delivery within Major Projects.


ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES


The duties are many and varied, but the list below is considered to be the basic requirement:


* Support with onboarding of new haulage partners in line with customer requirements and documented procedures.
* Updating and maintaining records on the supply chain and haulage partners in line with documented procedures and customer requirements.
* Advising and supporting haulage partners with customer requirements where necessary i.e. meetings and visits to hauliers, GDPR and Sharepoint expectations, performance monitoring and delivery compliance expectations.
* Assisting and leading where necessary with the input, update and maintenance of data in various portals and client systems with regards to any health, safety and compliance data.
* Liaising with clients and haulage partners to gather and log necessary data for reporting and performance monitoring.
* Issuing of warnings and driver strikes to hauliers where monitoring has evidenced poor performance and/or non-compliance.
* Updating and maintaining performance logs and analysing data to report on compliance and performance stats to haulage partners and the wider Major Projects team.
* Reporting, communication and escalation of any non-compliance or performance issues that may impact deliveries to the relevant parties and assisting with corrective actions to maximise deliveries.
* Liaising with customers and supply chain members to log and investigate non-compliance events and report back on requested data and corrective actions within the customers expected time frame.
* Assisting with administration duties relating to accident and incident reporting and investigation.
* Assisting with the quarterly Haulier Forum.
* Attending customer sites, haulier locations or other Major Projects office locations if required for meetings, training sessions, performance reviews etc.
* Responsibility for compliance and discharging legal duties with regards to HR and Health & Safety to promote a safe, equitable and legally compliant workplace.


KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO DO THE JOB


* GCSEs (or equivalent) Grade C/4+ in Maths and English.
* ALevel or vocational qualification in Business Administration/Studies (desirable)
* Full UK driving licence.
* Willingness to travel nationally when required (role mainly office-based in Nuneaton).
* Strong Microsoft 365 skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams).
* Excellent written and verbal communication.
* High attention to detail.
* Strong data management and analytical skills.
* Proactive problem-solving approach.
* Effective time management and organisational skills.
* Experience in a similar role or office environment (desirable).
* Customer service and complaint resolution experience (desirable).
* Experience in transport or logistics (desirable).
* Knowledge of major infrastructure projects (desirable).
