A fantastic new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Team Leader to work in an excellent children’s care service based in the Birmingham, West Midlands area. You will be working for one of UK’s leading healthcare providers

This is an amazing children’s care service and provides caring, supportive homes for children focusing on their wellbeing, personal growth, and development in a safe and nurturing environment

**To be considered for this position you must hold a minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare**

As the Team Leader your key responsibilities include:

1. Support young people with their daily routines; getting them ready for school, prepping for meal times and planning activities
2. Create a warm, homely environment by helping with light housekeeping
3. Lead shift and deputise home manager
4. Build strong, meaningful relationships and provide emotional support
5. Plan and join fun activities like trips to the park, popcorn & movie nights or creative projects
6. Keep essential records to ensure the best possible care

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

7. Excellent organisational skills
8. Ability to motivate and enthuse staff
9. Team Building Skills
10. Supervision Skills
11. Ability to manage teams effectively
12. Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing
13. Driver with full UK driving license

The successful Team Leader will receive an excellent salary up to £34,779 per annum DOE Sleep-in Shifts: £3,600 per annum. This exciting position is a permanent full time role for working 40 hours a week. In return for your hard and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
