Warehouse Stock Checker - Pineham - £23,907
The position
* This is a full-time permanent position based at our customer's distribution centre in Pineham.
* Rate of pay: £23,907 per annum
* Weekly hours: 37.5 hours plus a daily 30-minute unpaid break
* Shift Patterns: 5 days out of 7, shifts between 11am-7pm
* Working Environment: Freezer
A day in the life of a Warehouse Stock Operative
As a Warehouse Stock Operative, you will work as part of a dynamic and supportive team in a fast-paced, target-driven environment to ensure the accuracy of stock entering or leaving the depot.
Activities vary, and you may be required to work across multiple workstreams such as Goods Inbound checks, Picker Accuracy audits, and Load Adherence checks, many of which involve manual handling.
Job activities
* Audit the inbound accuracy of supplier deliveries on the GFR program.
* Audit picker accuracy for stock destined for stores and investigate errors.
* Follow audit and error verification procedures consistently.
* Maintain data integrity at all times.
* Achieve productivity levels in line with customer expectations.
* Review daily targets according to customer needs.

Job specifics
* Ability to respond actively to verbal instructions and audible warning devices
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal
* Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
