Overview
We are looking to take on an Experienced Plumbing Lecturer to begin work immediately. The successful Plumbing Lecturer in Cardiff will have the opportunity to work with 14+ aged pupils in Further Education settings across Cardiff, where staff are committed to providing the very best education and opportunities for all learners. The setting is dedicated to creating a dynamic and inclusive community, whilst promoting relevant skills to prepare students for the next steps in their careers and development.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and dynamic Experienced Lecturer who is ready to motivate students and maintain high learning standards. As an Experienced Lecturer you will support learners with basic skills, study skills, well-being and pastoral issues. A subject specialism is required within this role.
Responsibilities
* Support learners with basic skills, study skills, well-being and pastoral issues.
* Deliver and support practical and theoretical plumbing content.
* Maintain strong classroom and behavioural management, including with challenging behaviours.
* Demonstrate a clear commitment to learner support and well-being with an inclusive, learner-centred focus.
* Communicate clearly and effectively to different groups of people (e.g., young people, parents, external organisations, academic staff).
Qualifications
* QTS or PCET is required - essential requirement for the role.
* Level 3 or Coaching qualification relating to Education (not essential).
* Experience working in a learning support capacity (skills, pastoral, and well-being - not essential).
* Experience working with practical and theoretical plumbing.
