We are seeking a Social Housing & Lettings Manager to play a critical hands-on role in our growing housing Group.
First and foremost, this person must:
Understand social housing inside-out
Know how to deliver Regulator of Social Housing (RSH) standards
Know how to work with local authorities, nominations agreements, and social housing lettings
Primary responsibility = filling voids across:
Permanent social housing (Major Housing Association portfolio)
Temporary accommodation and PRS stock (Fortune Property Leasing Group & Major Commercial Property portfolios)
The successful candidate will be the public face of our housing operations — working with:
Local authority housing teams
GLA housing leads
Commissioning teams
Partner organisations
Private landlords / block owners supplying stock
This is a hands-on delivery role — not a desk-based or policy-only position.

Build external partnerships
Lead internal housing operations
Ensure our RP is delivering good practice and Regulator compliance
You will report directly to the Group Strategic Head — and have the opportunity to develop into a Head of Housing & Lettings role based on performance.

Key Responsibilities:
Fill voids rapidly across permanent and temporary accommodation portfolios
Use existing local authority and industry contacts to secure nominations and placements
Manage relationships with:
Local authority housing teams
GLA housing leads
Commissioning teams
Private landlords / block owners
Lead social housing lettings and ensure delivery of RSH standards
Ensure social housing tenants are managed in line with good practice
Promote a strong tenant experience across the Group
Lead TSM and KPI reporting for:
Board
Regulator of Social Housing
Utilise existing Frontline Housing & Tenant Communications Officer to support delivery and reporting
Act as the public face of the organisation with external stakeholders
Support delivery of GLA, local authority, and block leasing partnerships
Report directly to Group Strategic Head — with clear opportunity to grow into a leadership role
About You:
Strong social housing experience — understands RSH expectations and good practice
Proven track record of social housing lettings and working with nominations agreements
Strong network of contacts in local authority housing and commissioning teams
Hands-on and proactive — driven to fill voids and drive income
Experience of managing temporary accommodation and/or PRS stock is desirable
Strong understanding of:
TSM reporting
KPI management
Tenant engagement
Compliance standards
Experience managing or mentoring housing officers is desirable
Highly motivated to grow with the organisation — with ambition to progress to Head of Housing & Lettings based on performance
