HGV CLASS 1 DRIVER – GOOD RATES OF PAY – ONGOING REGULAR WORK – 5 DAYS PER WEEK – LONG SHITSPeople Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire.This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, no handball work and ongoing full-time hours with immediate starts available.This role will suit candidates with experience as an HGV Class 1 Driver, LGV Class 1 Driver, Category CE Driver, Articulated Lorry Driver or Truck Driver.Shifts:• 7 Day Operation – Various Shift patterns available• 12:00 – 16:00 or 21:00 – 01:00 Starts available• Long shifts available to maximise earningsRates of Pay:• £17.50 per hour between 05:00 – 20:00• £19.00 per hours between 20:00 – 05:00• £21.00 per hour Saturday & SundayBenefits:• No handball – clean curtain-sider work• Ongoing, stable work with full-time hours• Weekly pay• Immediate starts available• Regular overtime and sixth shift opportunities• Well-maintained vehicles and modern fleet• Potential long-term and permanent opportunitiesDay-to-Day Duties:As an HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties will include:• RDC Deliveries & Collections.• No handball required• Completing vehicle checks before and after shifts• Ensuring loads are secure and compliant• Following delivery schedules and routes efficiently• Adhering to all road traffic laws and company proceduresEssential Skills:To be successful in this role, you will need:• A valid UK Category CE / Class 1 Driving Licence• A minimum of twelve month's CE / Class 1 driving experience• No more than six penalty points for minor offences• A valid Driver CPC Card• A valid Digital Tachograph Card• A professional and reliable approach to workDesirable Experience:• Previous RDC delivery experience• Double Deck experienceTraining Provided:• Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignmentApply: If you are interested in this opportunity as a HGV Class 1 Driver, please apply today and a member of our recruitment team will be in touch.People Solutions do not charge candidates any fees or request deposits at any stage of the recruitment process.TPBN1_UKTJ
