Role Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic Sales Assistant to play a vital role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. With ample opportunities for career development, JD Group is the place to be for motivated individuals who want to progress and build a rewarding career.
Responsibilities
* Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly and ensuring they receive the best experience.
* Drive and exceed sales targets by utilizing in‑store devices, offering the full product range and maximizing add‑on sales opportunities.
* Maintain high visual and merchandising standards by keeping the shop floor clean, well‑stocked and organised according to brand guidelines.
* Support overall store operations by assisting in other departments as needed and representing the company professionally.
* Process sales transactions accurately, including cash handling and card payments.
* Upsell and cross‑sell products to maximise sales opportunities.
* Maintain stock levels on the shop floor and ensure shelves are well‑organised and appealing.
* Address and resolve customer queries and concerns in a professional manner.
* Work closely with team members to achieve store targets.
Role Objectives & KPIs
* Contribute to achieving or exceeding the store’s monthly sales target.
* Drive additional key performance indicators including Units, Conversion, Average Transaction Value (ATV) and Units Per Transaction (UPT).
* Achieve upselling or cross‑selling targets.
* Maintain a high Net Promoter Score (NPS).
* Ensure all stock on the shop floor is fully replenished.
Skills & Experience
* Positive attitude and experience in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused retail environment.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to engage customers and team members.
* Enthusiasm for learning new skills and taking on challenges.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on store needs.
