FLT Production Operative - Birtley
We are recruiting a number FLT Production Operatives to join a leading manufacturing client in Birtley.
Theseare long-term opportunities which combine forklift duties and hands-on production responsibilities. Some positions also require a full UK driving licence due to transporting materials between units.
Key Duties
1. Operating Counterbalance FLT safely
2. Transporting materials across site (and between units where required)
3. Working on a fast-paced production line
4. Machine operation
5. Packing and quality checking products
6. Manual handling and lifting
7. Vessel cleaning using jet wash equipment
8. Working with solvent-based products (PPE provided)
9. Adhering to COSHH and health & safety procedures
10. Completing shift handovers
