Location: Gloucester Business Park (hybrid working arrangements) with travel to project offices in London and Aztec West for collaboration.
Employment type: Permanent full-time/part-time.
Employment basis: The role is expected to be full-time; however, we are open to discussing a more flexible or part-time approach where possible.
Salary: From £64,000 dependent on experience, plus bonus and other benefits.

Following the success of Hinkley Point C, the Sizewell C Project is a nuclear new build in Suffolk, with planning approval and government support. The project has begun construction and seeks private investment. Once completed, it will supply electricity to 6 million homes for 60 years, aiding Britain in achieving Net Zero by 2050.
We are currently seeking a Hazards Safety Case Engineer to join our team. You will address complex challenges, providing solutions for the construction, commissioning, and operation of new nuclear reactors.
The Role
You will play a key role in the safety assessment of hazards for the Sizewell C project, owning the safety case and focusing on hazard assessment to reduce risks to ALARP levels. As the Intelligent Customer, you will engage with stakeholders, assess safety case deliverables, and ensure safety standards are met. Effective stakeholder communication and collaboration within Sizewell C and externally are vital. This is an opportunity to influence the safety of next-generation reactors and contribute to a world-class nuclear safety framework.
Skills
* Experience with Hazard Safety cases.
* Understanding of nuclear safety, ideally with sector experience.
* Self-motivated, dynamic engineer capable of working independently across disciplines.
* Excellent organizational and communication skills.
* Desire for professional development and continuous improvement.
* A degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Maths, or related fields is preferred but not essential.
