As we continue to expand the team in Wellingborough we are seeking two experienced Operations Supervisor to join our warehouse operations.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily activities, ensuring efficient business processes, and maintaining high standards of safety and productivity.

Responsibilities
* Support the Operations manager in the successful delivery of agreed KPIs, ensuring that the team is achieving operational performance target and seeking to address poor performance in a proactive, structured manner.
* Supervise daily warehouse operations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and operational efficiency.
* Identify any potential operational bottlenecks, on a daily basis, by understanding and evaluating the performance of your team by coordinating with team members to optimise workflow and productivity within the warehouse.
* Maintain a safe warehouse by ensuring 5S and health & safety standards are adhered to by challenging colleagues and also upholding expected standards.
* Manage materials handling tasks, ensuring proper storage and organisation of products.
* Ensure labelling and documentation requirements are adhered to, with the specifications outlined in Standard Operating Procedures.
* Provide training and support to staff on equipment operation and safety procedures.
* Perform quality audits and stock checks on product or storage locations as required.
* Assist in the day-to-day operation of all warehouse tasks.
* To deliver excellent customer service at all times, providing a quick an efficient service with a polite and helpful attitude.
* Perform all other duties as reasonably required for the role.
Skills
As the Operations Supervisor you will deliver consistent high standards of performance, conduct, attendance, and timekeeping. When areas of concern are identified, take responsibility for managing the situation both fairly and consistently and in a timely manner, utilising the support functions available i.e HR, Operations.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems is advantageous. Strong mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment and machinery is preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by operational demands.
