Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to provide educational support to children in Music. The ideal candidate will possess a strong ability to communicate effectively and create engaging learning experiences tailored to individual needs. This role involves working closely with students, to foster their academic growth and confidence with the instrument.
Duties
* Develop and implement personalised lesson plans that cater to the unique learning styles of each student.
* Employ various teaching methods to accommodate different learning abilities, including those with special educational needs.
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to both students and parents.
* Create a supportive and encouraging environment that promotes a love for learning.
* Maintain an organised record of tutoring sessions and student progress.
Requirements
* Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, particularly with children.
* Experience in young care is an advantage for working with younger learners.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with students and their families.
* Ability to educate and inspire students while adapting teaching methods to meet diverse needs.
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping children succeed academically.
* Relevant qualifications in education or a related field would be beneficial but are not mandatory.
* Enhanced DBS check to work with children - Mandatory.
