Due to high project demand, our EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) team in Basingstoke is hiring, and we’re seeking a Project Coordinator to oversee scheduling on multiple projects. UL Solutions campus in Basingstoke is now one of the most extensive commercial EMC and wireless test laboratories in Europe, providing customers with extensive EMC testing services for their consumer electronic devices. This is a fast-paced and varied role, which will give you a great insight to the world of project delivery in a specialist engineering setting. Responsibilities Liaising with the sales team and PMO team once a project reaches the operations stage and then defining the project schedule Ensuring all documentation has been completed prior to testing Making sure that all customer samples have arrived at the lab ready for testing Assigning Technicians / Engineers to testing Checking-in on testing process periodically Liaising with the customer throughout the testing process to keep them informed and handle any issues Generating letters for customers Using the Flex system to input project updates Undertake process improvement & process review as and when required Qualifications A Degree in Engineering, business administration, project management, or related field is preferred 1-2 years of experience in project coordinator or project planner roles, ideally working in a similar environment A good understanding and interest in technology. Bonus points for having knowledge of EMC or Radio/RF technologies Good knowledge of MS office programs. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work within deadlines. Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities, with a proactive mindset. Ability to work well independently as well as in a team environment.
