This companies’ presence in the local market is well respected and as a result, they are busy across the UK and Ireland. Their current projects include a major road bypass, groundworks on a new school and an industrial project within County Antrim.
Your new role
With a range of new projects live on-site, there are upcoming requirements for a Site Engineer to potentially work on road schemes, education projects and industrial projects. This company currently require a competent site engineer to ensure the projects are completed to a high standard.
As Site Engineer, you will be responsible for setting out duties using a total station, GPS, and laser level. You will be expected to complete these setting out duties to a high standard. You will be tasked with quality control and ensuring health and safety regulations are adhered to. As the sites and projects are varied, you must have a flexible attitude to UK travel.
As you continue to develop your skills as a Site Engineer, opportunities for progression and the chance to step into a more senior role may become available. Your role will be essential in the successful completion of all the projects you are involved in!
What you'll need to succeed
As Site Engineer, you must have experience carrying out surveying duties using a total station, laser level and GPS to a high and efficient level. You must be degree qualified in Construction Engineering or Civil Engineering and suitable experience within civil and groundworks projects is preferred. Excellent technical knowledge within the construction industry, attention to detail, awareness of health and safety regulations, communication and proficient organisational skills will be a continuous requirement in your new role.
