Pay Rate: £13.75 - £14.50 per hour (depending on experience)
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive primary school in Prescot. The school prides itself on creating a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child can thrive academically and personally.
This temporary position, starting in October, offers the opportunity for a passionate candidate to support classroom teachers in delivering high quality education, assisting with individual and group learning activities, and contributing to the overall wellbeing of the pupils. There is potential for this role to become permanent based on performance and school needs.
Ideal Candidate:
* Holds at least a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (preferred)
* Experience working in a primary school setting is desirable
* Ability to support children with a variety of learning needs
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Patient, reliable, and flexible approach to work
* A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team and follow guidance from teaching staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
