Assistant General Manager
We are recruiting an Assistant General Manager for our venue.
Puttshack is an upscale, tech‑infused mini‑golf experience that serves world‑class food and full bar in a cool environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist the General Manager with daily operations and act as liaison between departments and head office.
* Business
o Forecasting & controls – plan ahead to maximise financial opportunities.
o P&L – achieve sales and profit targets; monitor expenditure.
o Financial administration – maintain cash control, banking reconciliation, investigate discrepancies.
o Stock – enforce controls and budgets; conduct monthly stock takes.
o Premises – ensure cleanliness and maintenance.
o Health & Safety – uphold hygiene, statutory, legal and company standards.
o Equipment – oversee maintenance, report issues promptly.
* People
o Administration – manage schedules, deployment and holidays.
o Motivation – inspire and lead the team toward full commitment and growth.
o Recruitment – ensure staff are legally entitled to work in the UK, complete induction and documentation.
o Training & Development – appraise associates, create development plans.
o Welfare & Discipline – enforce company policy, address issues timely.
o Uniform & conduct – maintain presentation standards.
o Guest relations – build excellent relationships, meet & greet, foster loyalty.
o Service – deliver highest standards of service and act as a role model.
o Feedback – handle complaints, report to Head Office, propose solutions.
o Briefings – provide briefings to managers and associates.
Qualifications and Experience
* Previous experience as an Assistant General Manager in high‑volume F&B.
