Summary
You will be an integral part of the future growth of the department, driving revenue for the company's range of construction and civil engineering solutions. Your responsibilities include handling incoming enquiries, sending out quotations in line with company KPIs, and proactively following up to convert enquiries into orders. Strong communication skills are essential to build solid relationships with clients. The ideal candidate will be target-driven and eager to achieve results. Your main clients will include Architects, Consulting Engineers, Designers, Civil Engineering Contractors, Councils, and Agencies. You will collaborate effectively within the team to meet personal and departmental objectives aligned with company strategy. Skills in sales, communication, negotiation, presentation, and the desire to succeed are crucial.
The Role
* Achieve personal and department targets
* Provide basic technical assistance and recommendations to clients
* Assist with the implementation of sales and marketing strategies
* Provide a 3-month sales forecast
* Maintain and update the CRM system
* Develop new and existing targeted accounts
* Handle incoming and outgoing sales calls
* Provide quotations for customer enquiries
* Increase the conversion rate of quotations to orders
* Enhance company brand awareness within relevant sectors
* Promote products and services to a broad client base
* Work within the team to ensure high standards of customer care
* Provide technical support in collaboration with the technical department
The Person
* Construction or civil engineering sales background with diverse product/service experience
* Excellent communication, negotiation, sales, and presentation skills
* Support the delivery of the company's business plan
* Experience in customer relations and computer literacy
* Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
* Proficient in IT skills
* Demonstrate the company's Values & Behaviours
* Experience in Account Management and B2B Sales
