Job Responsibilities:
1. Ensure Works Orders are serialised, including clear documentation of job material shortages.
2. Manage work order closure, tracking, and batching size of work orders.
3. Review and process MRP exception messages.
4. Liaise with Procurement, Inward Goods, Stores, and the Shop Floor.
5. Manage rework order release and internal allocation.
6. Control electronic and physical movement of materials, both internally and to vendors.
7. Demonstrate a high level of customer focus.
8. Handle stock deliveries and replenishments.
9. Maintain excellent computer skills, including MS Office.
10. Educated to GCSE level.
Desirable Skills:
* Material planning and stock control.
* Dispatch and checking stock levels.
* Experience managing work order closure, tracking, and batching.

Our Materials Planner team is responsible for material planning using MRP systems to ensure material availability for manufacturing. This role involves working within an IPT to release purchase requisitions and work orders, and communicating requirements and status both internally and externally.
