Quantity Surveyor I – Life Sciences / Construction – Competitive Salary + Benefits The Role Reporting to the Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager, you will support the financial and contractual management of construction projects within highly regulated environments. Key Responsibilities * Cost Management & Project Controls * Support the preparation and management of project budgets and cost plans. * Assist with cost forecasting, cost tracking, and financial reporting across active projects. * Monitor project expenditure and compare against approved budgets and cost plans. * Maintain accurate commercial documentation and cost management systems. * Support preparation of monthly cost reports and financial summaries. * Assist with valuation of works completed and cost verification. Procurement & Contract Administration * Support tendering and procurement activities including bid analysis and contractor evaluation. * Assist in preparing contracts, purchase orders, and subcontract agreements. * Monitor contractor performance against contractual and financial obligations. * Support the management of variations, change orders, and commercial adjustments. * Ensure contractual compliance with industry-standard contracts such as NEC, JCT, or FIDIC.
