Salary: Negotiable (according to qualifications and experience)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm (term time), with some days required before and after term. Minimum 14.5 weeks' holiday per year.

About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and professional Head's PA / School Secretary to join a friendly boys' boarding prep school. This is a varied, full-time role requiring confidentiality, discretion, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to thrive in a busy environment.
Key Responsibilities PA & Administrative Support
* Provide full confidential PA support to the Headmaster.
* Manage phone calls, emails, diary appointments, and correspondence.
* Welcome and assist visitors, including parents and external contacts.
* Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and circulate documents.
* Maintain filing systems and records for the Headmaster and Governors.
Pupil & Parent Administration
* Record and monitor pupil attendance using iSAMS.
* Contact parents regarding absence and queries.
* Manage reports, exam papers, and communication with parents.
* Update termly school calendars, lists, and registers.
Office & Event Support
* Manage daily tasks such as post, stationery supplies, and school communications.
* Coordinate invitations, staff events, and special services.
* Support with termly events, including Speech Day, Carol Services, and Governors' meetings.
* Liaise with external suppliers (printing, coach bookings, etc.).
Termly & Ongoing Duties
* Prepare registers, attendance reports, and exam paper submissions.
* Update staff lists, calendars, and SOCS/iSAMS systems.
* Support with start and end-of-term administration.
* Assist with recruitment administration and leaver/joiner files.
