DRIVER/YARD OPERATIVE (NEWARK)

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Class 2 Driver based at our Newark branch. We are looking for someone with an enthusiasm for customer service and who is confident to work as part of a team and under their own initiative. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Making local deliveries in one of our Class 2 HGV Hiab Vehicles
* Loading our fleet of delivery vehicles ensuring that all products are safely loaded and secured.
* Ensuring loads are correct against the customers' orders.
* Ensuring delivery is safe to make and respecting customer's property.
* Provide first class customer service.
* Handle any customer issues on delivery effectively
We are looking for someone with;
* Full Driving licence for a Class 2 (Cat C) HGV vehicle with Digi-card and full Driver CPC is essential.
* Fork-lift licence would be an advantage.
* Hiab Experience preferable but not essential
* Excellent customer service skills.
* A flexible approach to work.
This is a full-time role; hours of work will be 7:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday (with 1 hour for lunch) and 7:30am to 12:30pm on 1 in 3 Saturdays.
