Senior Carer / Care Co-Ordinator
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £25,500 per annum

The Role
As a Senior Carer / Care Co-Ordinator, you'll be more than a care professional. You'll be a trusted leader, a mentor to your team, and a vital part of ensuring their clients receive the quality, compassionate support they deserve. You'll help run and improve a dynamic Domiciliary Care service, working alongside the Registered Manager to inspire and guide staff and ensure care is delivered with excellence.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist the Registered Manager with the coordination and smooth running of a Home Support and Personal Care Domiciliary Service that provides quality services to older people and others in need.
* Organise and coordinate client calls and allocations within schemes and community, and manage daily organisational requirements.
* Provide care and domestic support across the team rota within services and for staff on annual leave, ensuring continuity of care.
* Conduct supervision and appraisal with staff as requested by the registered manager.
* Support the registered manager with staff training and development.
* Ensure a quality service that reflects clients' individual assessed needs, adhering to National Minimum Care Standards and CQC legislation.
* Undertake shared provision of a telephone On-Call service outside office hours on a rota basis.
* Network and liaise with health and social care professionals to promote the service.
* Work with the Registered Manager to deliver new services for Jubilee Citizens.
* Promote a positive image of Jubilee Citizens UK.
* Undertake other relevant duties as required.
Skills And Qualifications
* NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Health & Social Care
* Experience in care delivery and team supervision
* Confidence in using care rostering systems and IT tools
* Compassionate and inclusive approach rooted in equality
* Full driving licence and ability to travel locally
* Ability to supervise staff within organisational policies
* Ability to travel throughout Birmingham and surrounding areas
* Strong organisational skills to meet client and staff needs
* Ability to assess client needs and deliver appropriate services
* Capability to carry out risk assessments
* Proficient computer and IT skills
* Knowledge of care rostering
* Effective time management skills
* Ability to provide confidential and discreet service
* Commitment to high standards of care
An enhanced DBS check will be undertaken for this role
