Local independent SEN school providing high quality, therapeutic education to students from 7 - 17 years old is seeking a Deputy Headteacher to join their team.
With children coming from a wide range of backgrounds, the work they do is varied and challenging. All the students have Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs and many will have other SEND needs such Autism, ADHD and communication difficulties.
As Deputy Headteacher, the way you go about your day will define the outcomes, successes and character of the school. As such a Practitioner who shares the vision and can embody the ethos of the organisation is sought.
You will be well supported through the structure of the various schools in the group, allowing you to focus on what is really important. You will be supported in your decision making and problem solving by the Regional Executive Head Teacher and the Head Teacher. Admin and compliance teams are also available to keep the ship stable and a dedicated Head of Teaching Learning and Curriculum will hep you to drive the quality of education. You will also work closely with a team of school leaders in similar settings across the region, alongside a specialist Regional SENCO. You will work alongside other agencies to influence lasting change.
To be successful in your application, you will be:
