About the role
Full‑time position, 35 hours a week. As an Activities Co‑ordinator at HC‑One you will plan and implement activities that delight residents across our dementia, nursing, residential and specialist care homes. You will also support the Home Manager with essential fundraising events and help residents become more confident socialisers, bringing the care team together around new activity ideas.
Responsibilities
* Plan, organise and run a diverse range of activities for residents.
* Coordinate and manage fundraising events within the home.
* Collaborate with the care team to promote resident engagement and socialisation.
* Maintain activity records and contribute to digital care planning initiatives.
* Identify and report any safeguarding concerns, recognising signs of abuse, harm or neglect.
Qualifications
* Background working with vulnerable individuals, ideally with experience developing activity programmes.
* Strong planning, organisational and IT skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
* Excellent interpersonal communication and the ability to interact kindly with residents and colleagues.
* Positive, energetic attitude and a natural ability to get along with people.
Safeguarding
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. You must recognise signs of abuse or neglect and know what action to take and escalation procedures. All colleagues are required to attend role‑appropriate safeguarding training and to undertake additional training where required.
