Graduate Teaching Assistant (Science Specialism)
Full-Time | Immediate Start | 5 Days per Week

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant with a Science specialism to join a thriving secondary school in the Hackney area. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate who is considering a career in teaching and would like to gain hands-on classroom experience in a supportive school environment.
The Role
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support students in Science lessons (KS3 & KS4)
Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning
Assist teachers with lesson preparation, resources and classroom organisation
Provide targeted support to students with SEND, EAL or lower prior attainment
Help promote positive behaviour and engagement in lessons
Contribute to the wider life of the school
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
Holds a degree in a Science subject (or related field)
Has a genuine interest in education and working with young people
Is patient, reliable, proactive and enthusiastic
Has strong communication skills
Is considering teacher training in the future (desirable but not essential)
