Senior Delivery Consultant - Machine Learning (GenAI), ProServe EMEA
Are you looking to work at the forefront of Machine Learning and AI? This role is with the AWS Industries Team at AWS, helping customers implement Generative AI solutions and realize transformational business opportunities in strategic industry verticals. A team of data scientists, engineers, and architects works with customers to build bespoke solutions that harness the power of generative AI, define use cases, train and fine-tune models, address technical or business challenges, develop proofs of concepts, and scale applications at production levels. The team provides guidance and implements best practices for applying generative AI responsibly and cost efficiently.
You will work directly with customers in a fast-paced environment to innovate, design experiments, research new algorithms, and explore ways to improve risk, profitability, and customer experience. You will leverage GenAI and other techniques to design, evangelize, and implement scalable solutions for never-before-solved problems.
Key job responsibilities
* Collaborate with AI/ML scientists, engineers, and architects to research, design, develop, and evaluate generative AI algorithms and build ML systems to address real-world challenges
* Interact with customers directly to understand business problems, assist with the implementation of generative AI solutions, deliver briefings and deep-dive sessions, and guide adoption patterns and paths to production
* Create and deliver best practice recommendations, tutorials, blog posts, publications, sample code, and presentations tailored to technical, business, and executive stakeholders

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* PhD, or Master’s degree and 3+ years of applied research experience
* 5+ years of building machine learning models for business applications
* Experience with programming in Java, Python or related language
* Experience with neural deep learning methods and machine learning
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience with LLM pre-training, fine-tuning, and evaluations
* Familiarity with distributed training and acceleration methods/libraries for LLMs or large-scale ML (e.g., DeepSpeed, Nemo-Megatron, PyTorch Lightning)
* Science backgrounds demonstrated by degrees in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Molecular Biology, Neuroscience
* Experience manipulating large datasets using RDBMS or SQL-on-Hadoop; familiarity with libraries like SparkML, scikit-learn, caret, mlr, MLlib
