Role Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Padel Club Supervisor to support our General Manager and ensure smooth daily operations. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a growing sport and develop your management skills in a dynamic, customer-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise day-to-day club operations including courts, cafe, retail and equipment hire
* Ensure exceptional customer service standards are maintained at all times
* Coordinate facility maintenance and report any issues promptly
* Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally
* Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times
* Provide guidance and support to junior staff members
* Cover shifts and step in where needed to ensure smooth operations
* Support the organisation of tournaments, events, and social activities
* Ensure facilities are clean, safe, and presentable at all times
* Monitor stock levels for cafe, retail, and equipment hire
* Assist with social media content and promotional activities
* Manage opening and closing procedures
Essential Requirements
* Minimum 1-2 years supervisory or team leader experience in sports, leisure, hospitality, or retail
* Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable manner
* Experience handling cash, POS systems, and booking software
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to remain calm under pressure and resolve conflicts
* Flexible approach to working hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
* Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
Desirable Requirements
* Experience in sports facilities, gyms, or leisure centres
* Knowledge of padel or racquet sports
* First aid certification
* Social media and basic marketing skills
