KS2 Teaching Assistant - Full Time Colchester £90-£95 per day Start Date: As Soon As Possible We are looking for a passionate KS2 Teaching Assistant to join our lovely three form entry primary school in Colchester. The Role As a KS2 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher and wider staff team to support pupils across the primary phase. Many of the pupils you support will have additional and complex needs including ASD, ADHD, and Dyslexia. Your responsibilities will include: Supporting pupils with additional needs in the classroom. Providing one-to-one and small group support where required. Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management. Supporting targeted interventions to help pupils progress academically and socially. Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all pupils. The Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who: Has a genuine interest in working in education and training. Has experience supporting children with additional needs such as ASD, ADHD, or Dyslexia (desirable but not essential). Is patient, enthusiastic, and proactive in supporting pupils. Works well as part of a team and communicates effectively with staff and pupils. Is committed to supporting children in a supportive Colchester school environment.
