As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, managing, and delivering projects to the highest standard. You will act as the main point of contact for clients, suppliers, and internal teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to specification.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage end-to-end projects, from initial brief and site survey through to delivery and post-event debrief
* Liaise with clients to understand technical requirements and provide clear, confident guidance
* Produce and manage project documentation, including technical specifications, schedules, and budgets
* Coordinate AV crews, freelancers, and suppliers
* Oversee equipment preparation, logistics, and on-site installation and derig
* Manage budgets, cost control, and invoicing support
* Meet financial targets and ensure projects are delivered profitably
* Work closely with the sales team to support further growth, including identifying upsell and repeat business opportunities
* Identify and mitigate project risks
* Ensure all work is delivered in line with health & safety and industry best practice
* Represent TechPro Events Limited professionally on‑site and with clients
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in AV project management within live events, conferences and exhibitions
* Strong technical knowledge across audio, video, lighting and set & staging
* Excellent organisational and time‑management skills
* Experience managing budgets and project schedules
* Ability to remain calm and solutions‑focused under pressure
* Strong understanding of health & safety in live event environments
* Experience working with large‑scale corporate events
* Knowledge of AutoCAD LT or similar event design software
