Responsibilities
* Oversee engineering delivery, ensuring projects remain on track and within budget
* Manage full V-lifecycle, ensuring adherence to best practices
* Develop and maintain engineering plans, tracking progress and milestones
* Identify and mitigate project risks, minimising impact on delivery
* Solve problems proactively as they arise
* Seek opportunities for project efficiency and improvement
* Manage projects predominantly sitting in the Hardware domain
* Strong communication skills to work across boundaries and maintain stakeholder engagement
* Ability to remain level-headed under pressure, ensuring smooth project execution
Qualifications
* Degree level qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related discipline.
* A lower qualification would be acceptable for example HNC/HND should the candidate be able to demonstrate significant demonstrable experience in lieu
Essential Skills
* Strong understanding of the V-lifecycle
* Demonstrated ability to manage complex engineering projects across multiple domains
* Expertise in tracking project progress, managing risks, and maintaining budgets
* Effective communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
* Ability to problem-solve and proactively seek project improvements
Experience
* Proven experience in engineering delivery management
* Post graduate relevant work experience
* Aerospace experience but candidates with Military or other adjacencies experience may suit this role.
* Able to work across the full Engineering Development Lifecycle
