My client's Corporate Tax team is experiencing rapid growth and is seeking a talented Corporate Tax Assistant Manager to join their dynamic Birmingham office. This is an exceptional opportunity to develop your expertise within a firm that truly values its people and clients.

Job Title: Corporate Tax Assistant Manager

Location: Birmingham Office, B3

Salary: Up to £50,000!

What You'll Be Doing:

As Corporate Tax Assistant Manager, you'll handle both compliance and advisory work, including:

Core Responsibilities:

* Preparing and submitting Corporation Tax computations and CT600s
* Managing a portfolio of clients and ensuring timely HMRC submissions
* Handling client tax queries and HMRC correspondence
* Providing routine tax advisory services under senior guidance
* Calculating tax liabilities and advising clients on obligations
* Attending client meetings and preparing comprehensive meeting notes
* Supporting business development activities

Growth Opportunities:

* Develop specialisms in insolvencies, academies, or not-for-profit sectors
* Delegate and review work of junior team members
* Take on increasing responsibility for client relationships

What I'm Looking For -

Essential:

* Currently working towards ACA/CTA qualifications
* Strong technical tax knowledge with ability to apply practical solutions
* Proactive approach to staying current with legislative changes
* Excellent IT skills and attention to detail
* Experience in client management and business development

Desirable:

* Experience in specialist sectors (insolvencies/academies/not-for-profit)
* Proven track record in team leadership and work delegation
