About The Opportunity
Within our Energy Advisory team we advise clients on the challenges and opportunities regarding decarbonisation/net zero issues specifically in relation to requirements for delivering the global energy transition. This includes decentralised, decarbonised generation and management, renewables and innovation in technologies and energy sources.
We are currently seeking an experienced technical specialist to help deliver continued growth in our services and add greater value to our client’s requirements. You will be responsible for assisting the team on the development and/or execution of energy efficiency projects and provide input toward utility analytics, helping lead engineers and project developers in identifying and implementing energy saving projects that aid in decarbonisation plans - via audits, assessments, measurement and verification and training.
We require a pro-active individual who has previous site auditing experience either on industrial sites and/or public sector with strong knowledge in energy management practices, including ISO50001 and ESOS.
Key responsibilities include
* Conducting audits including ISO50001 or ESOS compliant for a range of clients.
* Identify energy saving opportunities with ability to provide cost-effective recommendations
* Stay up to date with legislation, regulations, and best practices related to ESOS and energy management (ISO50001).
* Provide expert advice on energy efficiency, carbon reduction, and sustainability initiatives.
* Deliver presentations and reports to senior stakeholders and clients.
Here's what you'll need
* An engineering degree, likely to have a focus on energy; e.g. chemical, mechanical, energy engineering.
* Engineering experience with previous ESOS or ISO50001 experience.
* Knowledge of current and anticipated environmental, carbon and energy policy and legislation and how this can apply to organisations and projects.
