Following referral from their local Jobcentre Plus, participants receive 12 months of intensive personal support from the Restart Scheme. This support helps them to break down their barriers to work and secure sustained employment.We are looking for people with a really engaging personality with lots of energy not only win over participants on programme, but also work closely with the teamDo you have a background in training (L&D, Internal trainer, Retail trainer or College etc.)Are you a school/college teacher ?
Do you have a passion for wanting to train adults and have a clear understanding of the challenges and difficulties of training adultsPreparing and delivering trainingAssessing and evaluating results and providing performance feedbackMaintaining a professional training environment classroom managementPromoting courses to internal and external stakeholdersIdeally a recognised Teaching qualification such as PTTLS or PGCE - or willing to be funded to complete a tutor/teacher training course as part of your CPDAbility to work to strict targets and with people from various backgroundsExcellent verbal and written communication and presentation skillsExperience of working in the welfare-to-work or any other similar relevant sectorBackground in preparing and delivering training coursesA minimum of 2 A-Levels or an equivalent Level 3 DiplomaGCSE English Language at a minimum of a Grade B (or equivalent Level 2 qualification). OR achievement of a Level 2 in Literacy Assessment at interview stage.Desirable QualificationsAbility to empathise with our members and motivate themPassion for delivering excellent job and making long-term positive changes for our membersResilience, creativity and adaptabilityWillingness to travel locally (e.g. to deliver training/courses/meet Learners/Employers)Alongside a generous base salary and great flexibility with your working schedule, we offer training, development and progression opportunities.
