Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified Glazier / window and door repair to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of windows & doors in various residential and commercial properties. This role requires a strong understanding of building structures and the ability to work with a variety of materials and tools. The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent craftsmanship and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Responsibilities
* Install, replace, and repair windows and doors in accordance with specifications and safety standards.
* Measure and cut materials accurately to ensure proper fit and alignment.
* Use hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely and effectively during installations.
* Perform necessary adjustments to ensure windows and doors operate smoothly and efficiently.
* Conduct inspections of existing windows to identify issues such as leaks or damage.
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment throughout the duration of projects.
* Follow all health and safety regulations while on site.
Qualifications
* Proven qualifications & experienced Glazier
* Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment relevant to glazing and repairs.
* Knowledge of building regulations and safety standards related to window installation.
* Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Good physical fitness as the role may involve lifting heavy materials and working at heights.
* Full Uk Driving licence essential
