Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Senior Care Assistant to join our clients care home team in Southport. This role involves providing high-quality, person-centred care to residents while supporting and guiding care staff on shift. You will work both day and night shifts as part of a full-time 48-hour contract.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver compassionate, person-centred care in line with individual care plans
* Administer medication safely and in accordance with policies
* Support residents with personal care, mobility, nutrition, and hydration
* Monitor and record residents’ clinical needs, reporting any concerns promptly
* Lead, supervise, and support care assistants during shifts
* Liaise with nurses, healthcare professionals, and families as required
* Maintain accurate care records and documentation
* Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
* Respond effectively to emergencies and changes in residents’ conditions
Requirements
* Previous experience in a senior care or clinical care assistant role
* NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) preferred
* Medication administration training (essential)
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Ability to work both day and night shifts, including weekends
* A compassionate and professional approach to care

* 12-hour shifts

* Includes weekends and bank holidays
