Hours: 8.5 hours per week (Fridays, includes 30-minute paid break)
Salary: From 1st April 2026 | £5,617.82 per annum | £12.71 per hour
Working Pattern:
* Driving: 08:3011:00 and 14:3017:00
* Community Enabler: 11:0014:30
Join SCA Care and make a real difference in your community. This rewarding dual role combines safe transport with hands-on care and support, helping people attend day services, take part in activities and maintain their independence.
Youll safely transport individuals to and from the service (with a Transport Escort present) and support them during sessions by providing person-centred care, assisting with daily living needs where required, encouraging participation in activities and promoting wellbeing, dignity and inclusion.
Key Responsibilities
* Transport individuals safely to and from the service.
* Provide person-centred support in line with care plans.
* Assist with mobility, personal care and mealtime support where needed.
* Support participation in meaningful activities and promote independence.
* Monitor wellbeing and maintain accurate records.
* Work as part of a supportive team to ensure a safe environment.
About You
* Full D1 or PCV driving licence.
* Caring, reliable and patient approach.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Willingness to provide hands-on support in a care setting.
Experience in health or social care is helpful but not essential we provide training.
