Tuesday: 05.00 - 13:30
Wednesday: 05.00 - 11:00
Thursday: 05.00 - 14:00
Friday: 05.00 - 14:00
Saturday: 06.00 - 13:00
Our client is a well-established, family-run butcher's shop, which is now part of a larger food wholesaler, with a thriving wholesale section currently operating from their retail premises in Shirehampton. As theyprepare to move into a brand-new, purpose-built facility in Yate in early 2026, they\'re looking for a skilled and motivated Butcher to join their team and play a key role in this exciting new chapter. You will be working from Shirehampton, until the wholesale side of the business is relocated to Yate.
Responsibilities
* Cutting, boning, and preparing meat to wholesale specifications
* Ensuring high standards of hygiene and food safety
* Assisting with packing and order fulfilment
* Supporting the transition to the new Yate facility
* Contributing to process improvements and operational efficiency
About You
* Proven experience as a Butcher, ideally in a wholesale or high-volume setting
* Strong knowledge of meat cuts and preparation techniques
* Reliable, hardworking, and a team player
* Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with changing demands
* Willing to grow with the business as they expand into their new premises
