Role Purpose
Has a responsibility whilst at work to take reasonable care of the health, safety and wellbeing of yourself and others in accordance with provided information, training, and workplace health and safety rules or procedures. As such the Company prohibits such misuse and carries out regular testing to enforce our Substance Misuse Policy.
What you will be doing
1. Supervise daily activities of airport security officers, including door guards, screeners, and patrol personnel
2. Monitor compliance with TSA regulations, airport security procedures, and company policies
3. Conduct inspections of secure and restricted areas to ensure proper access control
4. Respond to security incidents, emergencies, and suspicious activity in a timely and professional manner
5. Oversee access control systems, badge verification, and entry/exit procedures for secure areas
6. Coordinate with airport operations, law enforcement, airline personnel, and emergency response teams
7. Investigate security incidents and prepare detailed reports and documentation
8. Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to security staff
9. Monitor security equipment such as CCTV systems, access control systems, and alarm systems
10. Ensure proper staffing levels and assign daily duties and posts to security personnel
11. Enforce safety protocols and escalate violations or breaches as required
12. Support emergency response procedures, including evacuations and crisis situations
13. Maintain accurate logs, reports, and compliance documentation
14. Perform other duties as requested

What we are looking for:
15. Must be 18 years of age or older
16. HS Diploma or GED
17. One (1) year of security, military, law enforcement, or airport security experience
18. Minimum one (1) year of lead or supervisory experience
19. Knowledge of TSA regulations, airport security protocols, and emergency procedures
20. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
21. Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
22. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced airport environment
23. Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime
24. Airline or Airport Operations leadership experience
25. Airport terminals, secured and restricted areas, and security checkpoints
26. Fast-paced, safety-sensitive environment with high passenger traffic
27. Exposure to indoor and outdoor conditions depending on assignment
28. Requires extended periods of monitoring, walking, and standing
29. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
30. Ability to respond quickly to security incidents or emergencies
31. Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds occasionally
32. Ability to work in varying weather conditions and high-security environments
33. Must be able to read, write, understand and carry out instructions in English
34. Must meet necessary requirements to obtain a security sensitive identification badge
35. Must be able to verbally direct in English
36. Must have good hearing and vision
37. May be required to work weekends, overnight shifts and holidays
