Relief Chef - DBS Environments & Contract Catering

The Role
As a Relief Chef, you will work across a variety of settings including schools, care homes, hospitals, and other secure environments. This is a flexible role ideal for chefs who thrive in different kitchens and enjoy the variety of short-term assignments.
Key Responsibilities
Preparing and cooking high-quality meals in line with site requirements
Working to strict food safety and hygiene standards
Adapting to different kitchen environments and teams
Supporting existing kitchen staff during busy periods or staff shortages
Maintaining a clean, organised, and compliant workspace
Requirements
Valid Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
Proven experience as a chef in contract catering or similar environments
Strong knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations
Flexibility to travel to different locations and work varied shifts
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliability and a positive, professional attitude
