Sheridan Maine is working in partnership with a rapidly growing organisation based in London to recruit a Tax Manager. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a qualified and experienced tax professional to take ownership of the groups tax compliance, reporting, and governance processes.
The Tax Manager will play a key role within the finance function, ensuring all tax obligations are met in an accurate and timely manner, while maintaining a strong control environment.
Responsibilities of the Tax Manager include:
* Manage external advisors to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of tax provisions and returns.
* Review tax submissions and communicate potential liabilities to key stakeholders.
* Prepare concise and informative reports for internal leadership and investor tax teams.
* Ensure compliance with relevant international tax measures, including Corporate Interest Restriction, UK/US Anti-Hybrid rules, and Transfer Pricing requirements.
* Develop and maintain detailed tax forecast models aligned with business plans, providing clear visibility of future tax liabilities to senior leadership.
* Review, strengthen, and maintain robust internal tax processes and control frameworks.
* Manage a comprehensive and efficient tax document management system.
* Provide technical support and guidance on VAT, SDLT, CIS, and employment tax matters as required.
The successful Tax Manager will require the following skills and qualifications:
* Professionally qualified (ACA/CTA or equivalent).
* Extensive Real Estate tax experience (accounting practice or within industry).
* Knowledge of international tax principles and reporting requirements.
* Excellent communication skills, with an ability to explain complex tax matters to non-tax audiences in an understandable manner.
* Proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

This position is four days per week office-based (London) with one day working from home.
