Job Title: Business Development Manager – CCTV
Industry Sector: High End CCTV, Monitoring Services, Fire, Security, Intruder Alarms, Access Control, High Net Worth Individuals, heritage Buildings, Local Authorities, Schools, Colleges
Area to be covered: South of Birmingham
Remuneration: £45,000-£55,000 Neg. + £100,000 uncapped OTE
Benefits: Hybrid Company Car or Car Allowance & full benefits
The role of the Business Development Manager – CCTV, Intruder Alarms, Access Control and Fire Alarms will involve:
* Field sales role predominantly selling high end CCTV systems, but also intruder alarms, access control and fire alarms as well as our clients’ own monitoring services from dedicated monitoring station
* Historically strong within the high net worth individual (popular in Kensington and Chelsea in particular) and heritage markets such as; castles, manor houses etc.
* Tasked with generation circa £400,000-£600,000 of new business revenue per annum
* Projects from £2,000 for small works up to £100,000 for large projects, average order £30,000
* Niche offering as our client provides its own monitoring station, which enable s in house monitoring rather than using a 3rd party
* Ideally utilising your own network of possible contacts within the industry
The ideal applicant will be a Business Development Manager – CCTV, Intruder Alarms, Access Control and Fire Alarms with:
* 3 years+ proven track record in field sales
* Must have sold some associated solutions to at least one of: CCTV, Intruder alarms, access control or fire alarms
* Knowledge of NSI +/or FIA regulations would be beneficial
* Ideally with a network of contacts with the fire & security marketplace
* Self-motivated/ very autonomous role
* New business hunter
* Comfortable promoting a full turn-key security solution
* Ideally electrical/ engineering qualification or experience previously in a technical role
