We are looking to recruit anenthusiastic and motivated Health Care Assistant (HCA) to join our friendly andsupportive Primary Care Team within a busy General Practice.
The successful candidate willwork under the supervision of the nursing team to deliver high-quality patientcare and undertake a wide range of clinical and administrative duties.
Main duties of the job
* Undertake core HCA duties includingobservations (BP, pulse, BMI, urinalysis)
* Perform venepuncture, ECGs, and NHS HealthChecks (if trained)
* Support chronic disease monitoring and healthpromotion
* Maintain accurate patient records usingclinical systems
* Ensure a clean, safe clinical environment inline with infection control policies
* Work collaboratively with the wider practiceteam

Qualifications
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Basic IT skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Reliable- flexible and self-motivated
* Commitment to high standards of patient care
* Previous experience as a Health Care Assistant or in a healthcare setting
* Experience in General Practice or Primary Care
* Phlebotomy and/or ECG experience
* Knowledge of clinical systems (e.g. EMIS/SystmOne)
