This role requires the post holder to have PVG Scheme membership/record. If not currently a PVG member for the relevant regulatory group (child and/or adult), an application must be made to Disclosure Scotland and approved before starting in the role.
Note: As this is a part-time position, the salary will be pro-rata.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide independent, comprehensive specialist assessment, diagnosis, treatment/appropriate management, onward referral, and discharge to a complex range of patients referred to the service.
2. Supervise junior Speech and Language Therapists (SLTs), clinical support workers, assistant practitioners, and SLT students.
3. Develop and deliver training programs for professionals and carers to educate them about the therapy process and interventions related to patients' medical and social needs.
