Job Title: Service Engineer
Rates: £35,000 - £40,000 DOE
Location: Hereford

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Service Engineer to support our customer sites. Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out servicing, breakdowns, and preventative maintenance in a cost-effective and efficient manner
* Repair, test, and calibrate machinery
* Provide on-site technical support to clients as required
* Troubleshoot and fault-find mechanical issues
* Build strong relationships with clients and deliver excellent customer service
* Maintain company-assigned vehicle, tools, and test equipment
* Adhere to safety procedures and company guidelines
* Complete all service and repair documentation accurately
* Work collaboratively with the operations team to meet schedules and commitments
* Attend training sessions as required to maintain skills and knowledge
Requirements:
* Formal qualification such as NVQ and/or City & Guilds (preferred)
* Experience in the forklift industry, or alternatively in agricultural/plant machinery, mechanical engineering, or motor vehicles
* Proactive and driven with excellent communication skills
* Highly organised with strong time management abilities
* Positive, can-do attitude and adaptable to change
