We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Textiles & Food Technician to join our thriving Technology team. This is an exciting and rewarding role where you will specialise in Food and Textiles; supporting with the preparation and delivery of lessons to students who are keen to learn and achieve.

Role Details
Salary: Band C (NJC points 4-6) Actual Salary: £
Contract Terms: Permanent, Term time only
Hours: Monday to Thursday 07:30 – 15:30 and Friday 07:30 – 15:00
Closing Date: Monday 29 September 2025 at 9am
Start Date: 3 November 2025
What the role involves
* Preparation of materials, food and equipment for demonstrations and lessons
* Maintenance of food technology rooms and classrooms to ensure a well-stocked, safe working environment
* Following Health & Safety and Hygiene standards and procedures and applying these across the department at all times
* To provide advice and assistance in the classroom to support students and to assist teaching staff with the provision of learning activities and any extra-curricular activities
