We have an exciting role on offer within our Integrated Transport and Infrastructure as a Passenger Assistant.
About Us
We are looking to recruit staff to work during term time who are excited to be Passenger Assistants within our Integrated Transport Unit. A Passenger Assistant accompanies children and vulnerable adults on their journeys between home and school or access to other day services.
You may be asked to work across all areas to meet service demands and ensure our passengers are well cared for. Passenger Assistants act as the link between parents/carers and service provider staff, representing Middlesbrough Council.
To succeed in this role, you need to be passionate about supporting those we serve.
Statutory training, including first aid and manual handling, is provided to all Passenger Assistants. Additional training is available based on the needs of the individuals you support.
Your responsibilities include ensuring passenger safety and wellbeing, and creating a comfortable, happy environment during transport.
